The long-awaited “Smile Sessions” by The Beach Boys will be out on november 1st in various formats.
The album is scheduled to be released in a 2-CD package under the title The Smile Sessions. A limited edition box set will comprise 4 CDs, 2 LPs, 2 45rpm singles and a 60 page booklet; there will also be a digital download version. The album originally had a tentative July 12 release date, but this was later pushed back to August 9, 2011, to give the producers enough time to finish the missing pieces of the album. As that date approached, the release was again pushed back to a tentative date of October 4, 2011 and as of August 2011 has been pushed again to November 1, 2011.
