Otis Fodder is opening his new label Comfort Stand Records soon. The first release "Two Zombies Later" will be a 2-CD set available to download for free (in mp3 format) featuring a slew of artists covering, interpretating and forming new compositions with the underlying theme of Exotica and Space Age Bachelor Pad Music. Some of the artists featured are Tipsy, Br. Cleve (of Combustible Edison), Dana Countryman, Der Plan, Skip Heller, Weirdomusic, and many others.

Two reliable sources inform us that the rumor about Yma Sumac's death (see below) is not true. To quote her former secretary Sara Cloudwater: "Madame Sumac is alive and well. She is planning on doing some new recordings which should come as welcome news to her fans."
